Visit from Invicta arachnid club!

Last week we had a very exciting event. We were visited by Chris, who is a member of the Invicta arachnid club. He gave a great display and told us all about the different ways that animals can protect themselves.

We had the opportunity to see several animals, including: cockroaches, toads, scorpions, stick insects, frogs, tree frogs, lizards, snakes and snails. Some of the children were very brave and even had the chance to hold the animals.

Kamaran, a year 2 pupil said “I got to hold a scorpion and it was awesome but I was a bit scared of the snakes”.
